So I'm going to uninstall/reinstall again (and NOT select MME!). It worked fine for about a year. The physical limitation of the cheap plastic fiber, that TOSLINK has been designed for, is 20 Mbit/s, for example. I think it has better driver support than my Revolution 5.1.
